The Serra’s hometown of Dorgali is on the central-east coast of Sardegna. The closest airport is Olbia, about 1 hour away. Alghero and Cagliari are about 2.5 hours away. We strongly recommend renting a small car as it is difficult to traverse Sardinia without one.

Lodging

We recommend staying in Cala Gonone, a beach village just 15 minutes over the mountain from Dorgali.

Airbnb is the most affordable option, with many furnished apartments available in Cala Gonone for $50–80/night.
Su Gogolone is our favorite upscale hotel in the area, a mountain resort 20 min. from Dorgali. Authentic folk art theme with modern amenities.
